Ran with the bbk group. Did a 4.25 mile warmup. Then did 2x1.5 mile tempo runs. Then ran back to the car to get to work. It was a nice cool morning. Good for a run.

This evening my scouts were working on the Personal Fitness merit badge and I took our boys to the Bingham track.  They had to run a mile. I bet them I could run 6 laps to their 4. Only one of them beat me in the last length. It was fun! They were amazed at how I could run without stopping! They were asking me questions like how come your not breathing hard? lol What time to you get up and run? You could beat my mom when shes driving. lol Funny kids.

So Walter, what do I have to do to get on your top 100 list?

From Smooth on Tue, Sep 15, 2009 at 22:30:59 from 71.32.234.162

It was perfect temp for a morning run. NICELY done!

From Walter on Tue, Sep 15, 2009 at 23:18:40 from 76.27.15.208

Adam, what are you talking about? I dont have 100 friends! Trust me your right there in the top ten. Unless someone that runs with me more happens to oust you then top 20. But no more then top 50.

Smooth, wasnt it though? I love these temps right now.

From Smooth on Tue, Sep 15, 2009 at 23:24:12 from 71.32.234.162

Yes, I'll be there with you. Not sure how I'm going to start. I want to go sub-2:40 but am thinking going out sub-2:35 and seeing if I can hold it... If I crash oh well...

From Walter on Wed, Sep 16, 2009 at 21:53:53 from 76.27.15.208

I am in the same thinking as you Adam. I think if I can do a 1:17 or faster for the first half, I should be able to hit 2:35. Its going to be a gut check for me.

Man, Adam still isn't on your friends page...

From Adam RW on Thu, Sep 17, 2009 at 22:53:26 from 67.186.226.36

Jon, I've come to grips with it. After crying myself to sleep the last two nights I realize my pain is just not worth it. Sorry world... I may be too traumatized to race on Saturday now.

From Walter on Thu, Sep 17, 2009 at 23:20:59 from 76.27.15.208

What are you two talking about? He's on the top of my list of FAVORITE BLOGS! Adam, good luck to you Saturday!

Jon, I think you should stick with the green shorts and not talk to ANYONE at the start. Even if they provoke you! Go hide and do your thing! Try not to let Pauls shorts fade away from you! Rockit!
