ALL BY MYSELF were the lyrics to the song in my head this morning as I ran. I had to get up early and get my Japanese student off to the airport by 6:30.  She has been a cute little addition to our home for the past 2 weeks.   It was a blast getting to know her and I didnt know this till yesterday but Cheryl was in the same program and last night they had a dinner for us and I saw her there.  It was fun.  I ran an extended loop off of Daybreak this morning late. I started close to 9 so the sun was in full force.  Now I can work on that farmers tan! lol I ran a pretty nice comfortable pace and my average was 7:16.  Well its off to work I go! Tschuss!

That song is a little slow for running, I am surprised you were not running more like a 12 minute mile with that going on in your head! I need to find you one of my RAP songs to fit your solitary run. I will work on that today.

And way to run at 9! It is so hot out there, I just can not do it, maybe in a few more weeks. I need to see your daybreak loop. We live over by Kneaders and Iceberg (a place I am DYING to go to, but have told myself I have to wait until after the marathon)off of 134th, but we need to start running in the Daybreak direction to up our miles (12 is the most we can get out here---unless we run up the canyon which is DANGEROUS because of crazy drivers and Mountain Lions!!!) Have you mapped it on the course tool?

I know that song is slow but my wifes out of town, my kids are in school and i trying to line work up with construction being slow so it is extremely quiet in my house right now. I just live off of Willow Valley road which is 3280 w. and 10635 South. I start there and go through my neighborhood to 118th and then up to Copper creek subdivision and run a loop around that and then it comes back out to face Daybreak and then I just ran up around over to 104th and then down to Willow Valley road which comes off of 104th. I usually just run up 114th to daybreak and around and its 5 exactly. I love Icecream myself and like going to Leatherbys. Sooo good. Theres nothing wrong with having a little marshmellow there, I wish I had a little more fat on myself sometimes. Did I just say that? I would just run it off! lol

Is that by where they used to have the Buffalos??

You skinny people do have life easy---you can have your cake and ICE CREAM and eat it, too! Honestly, I am doing much better with the eating! I have been reading Sarah's recipe stuff and I am even trying one of them tonight. We will never be perfect eaters, but we can do better. My husband has gotten way skinny---so if he can, I can!

From walter on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 13:43:09

Yeah, the buffalo are gone but the Elk are still there. I live on the next road to the west from there. I built my own house in there about 4 years ago. You know having kids takes its toll on you so being able to recoup from that amazes me in itself. Just keep running, just keep running.

So, I was reading your comments and figured out (if your are LDS) that you are probably in my brother's ward. His name is Russ Park. I may end up meeting you if you head out with the BB again.

From Kelli on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 16:39:55

Michelle--I am LDS (and proud of it!), but I do not know that name. We moved here to years ago. Where does your brother live? We have 2 stakes out here just in our neighborhood alone, so it is crazy!! I live just off of 134th a few blocks and about 5100 west.

From Michelle on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 17:23:57

Kelli, it was actually Walter I meant to say that to. My bro lives right there by the Elk.

From Kelli on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 17:36:25

OH mY!! I had so many fast running blog things in my e-mail, I did not even notice that it was Walter's blog you were posting that in. I apparently need more sleep! I think Walter and I have become one in the same...momentarily anyway.

From Cheryl on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 21:41:06

Yes, Walter, you and Kelli have had quite the interesting conversations. By the way, you met a lot of people yesterday, and Debbie is the one with the Japanese student, not me. But I'm glad you had fun kind of meeting me last night. Hope to see you tomorrow at the group.

From walter on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 21:52:59

Sorry Cheryl. I think I talked to more people yesterday than at a convention. So pardon mwah. I got bored not being at work and it was fun gibber jabbing with her on and off. Im guessing you will be there tommorrow right? I will try to be ready that is an insane start.

From Cheryl on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 22:10:06

That's ok, I wouldn't have remembered anyone's name if that had been my first time at the group. Yes, I will be there tomorrow, and well, it is an insane time because we are, well, INSANE!!

From walter on Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 22:43:54

Make sure you get me straight on your name so I dont call you Debbie tommorrow and im not mocking your insanity. Im insane myself Cheryl, thats why I run. Its an insane balance.
