I ran 6 glorious miles in the dark by myself around daybreak.  I accidentally woke up at 1 am this morning and took a shower thinking I was late for work and when I got out of the shower I looked at my watch and it said 1 am. Brilliant! So I got another 5 hours of sleep before my run. Oh yes, Im losing it!

Wow, Wall-e... wow... I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday and I was late for my volunteer shift at the Ragnar Relay... maybe I'm a bit smarter than you though; I realized it was Friday before getting out of bed ;)

From Camille on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 11:54:23

I have done that before... and we have all had those mornings. I hope the rest of the day goes smoothly.

From Michelle N. on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 12:43:05

A couple of days ago, I set my alarm for 7:00 and for some reason the hour changed an hour forward but I still set it for 7:00 so, I woke up and started yelling up to my kids to get up and then realized that the hubbies alarm clock said 6:00. I dunno what happened but you think I would have clued into the PITCH BLACK outside. Oh well. Nice run.

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:03:40

Just take it as a sign you are reverting to your youth. That's when I used to get up like that. :)

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:04:24

You guys have separate alarm clocks?? Strange. Actually, I am sure it is pretty normal, just odd to me!

Walter---please get some rest! And you lost it a long time ago---go find it!

From Michelle N. on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:06:48

Kelli-The hubby gets up at 5:00 EVERY day and me only every other and plus, I like to see what time it is when I wake up. I'm a mean wife and I don't get up with him that early:)

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:07:50

No, no, no! I am the mean wife because I make Scott reset the alarm when he gets up !! I guess I should get him his own!

From Michelle N. on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:12:36

You're funny. Jared used to do that actually but I'd get mad when he'd forget so he bought me one for xmas a few years ago. It was one of those pregnant wife gifts. That was an interesting xmas. I got a blender, new griddle, new hand mixer, new iron, new ironing board, and an alarm clock. I didn't want any clothes dangit, since I WAS NOT having anymore kids:)

From Lucia on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:18:39

My husband wakes up at 5 every morning, makes me breakfast, goes running with me, then cleans the entire house and gives me a massage when I get home from work. Oh, and did I mention he lives in my imagination? He's the best! ;)

From Michelle N. on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:21:07

You are a funny woman Lucia. I was thinking as I was reading your post, hmmm, I thought she was single:) I really do have a great hubby though. Although, we are fighting right this moment.

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:52:05

My husband is currently in the shower---scrubbing it! And I am supposed to be shaking rugs and vacuuming. I do not want to, if I slack off enough, it will e time for me to go get the kids and then he can do it for me!!! He IS a good cleaner---and he is even for real.

I would like the imaginary husband who does all of the rest of that, though! And one who will get up with the kids!

From Lucia on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 15:54:53

Exactly!!! A robot husband!!! Hahahaha!

From Walter on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 16:03:18

Kelli, I couldnt figure out what the heck you were saying when you said your husbands in the shower scrubbing 'it'. I have a very dirty mind, sorry. You get what you get with me!

From Camille on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 16:03:34

My husband and I keep joking about how we need a wife to cook and clean for us. Maybe all I needed was Lucia's imaginary man.

Separate alarms sounds good, but in my house it wouldn't work. That would require my husband to acknowlegde that an alarm *was* going off. LOL he sleeps through alarms. When he use to wake up before me it would tick me off because he's alarm would wake me up and be so annoying, and he'd still be sawing logs. Nowdays, I'm his alarm. We are much happier.

From Walter on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 16:08:41

I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan! lol

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 16:47:55

SCRUBBING THE SHOWER, Walter!

Hey, just have my kids run behind me yelling at me and at each other and hitting and fighting and all of the stuff they do best, AND I could run so fast i would probably make a world record!

From Walter on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 17:26:39

I know Kelli, I havnt even met your kids and when I do im going to be very judgmental. I'll be like the Nanny! Im glad Scott was scrubbing the shower! lol

From JD on Fri, Sep 26, 2008 at 23:44:05

Cleanliness is next to Godliness...even if you're "in the shower scrubbing it" at 1:00 am. Lol!

Sorry, I couldn' resist.

From Walter on Sat, Sep 27, 2008 at 00:22:50

We can easily go overboard here huh!? Theres a quote by Larry the cable guy who says he was in the shower when it accidentally went off. lol Ok Im not getting any more perverted than that. See what you made me do!?
