I should have up'd my mileage yesterday from all that walking around Lagoon! lol I was going to ad a little incident that happened to me this week that I broke my toe at work and thought it was just bruised at first but its not getting better. I actually did it on Wednesday and ran with the BBK group on Thursday.  I hope that means I have a tolerance for pain. lol It really hurts when Im not wearing shoes.  The shoes actually feel better on my toe as it helps it from bending.

Lagoon was crowded and busy but I seemed to evade it all year and felt bad for my kids so I went.   One funny thing that happened was we took our 6 year old through one of the haunted houses and her 4 other cousins around the same age.  As we were coming out of it everyone of the girls except one was crying. We made such a scene! It was funny. Ill bet the other children in line were having second thoughts about going in there.  I made my daughter go through the other one but her cousins refused.  Im a mean dad. jk I prep'd her for the second one. I told her that they were just kids with makeup on and they could not touch her. Then explained how its there job to try and scare her. If she acts like shes not scared they will leave her alone. She was a hoot to watch.  Trying her best to act normal. I was laughing because the kids in there werent buying it. They kept bugging her until I had to put myself between them and her.  She didnt cry though.

Was good to run into you yesterday man. And you didnt throw us off our timing. I just didnt turn off my watch for the break.:) So dont worry about it at all. We will probably pass each other alot anyhow if you run the parkway too.

Yeah, I hate traffic, in fact yesterday as I was coming off the trail at 90th and going south into that condo subdivision. Some car would not get over for me in fact he aimed his car at me and I had no where to go. So I went out in the street and put my hands up like are you going to go around me or what? Then when he passed me I flipped him off! My wife was just ahead of me and told me he did the same thing to her and she said she was going to flip him off but didnt and I told her I did so she laughed!

You have a tough little girl! I'm a lot older then her, and know that they can't touch you... and all that jazz, but I still can't do haunted houses. I could when I was little but had an experience at a haunted house at Old Tucson that pretty much ruined me. I think I was 8. I haven't done a haunted house since.

Camille, Im amazed at some of the things they can do at those haunted houses. Some of the effects are so great there. Bailey was a trooper for going into the second one. I tricked her into going on wicked with me. She thought we were in line for a different ride and its a freeky little ride. It goes straight up and then over and straight down and then twists you upside down.

From Camille on Mon, Oct 20, 2008 at 10:16:26

Yeah, she is a trooper. Man... I'm a total whimp compared to your little girl. I'm also afraid of rollercoasters. It takes a lot to get me on one. Especially if it goes upside down.

I realized how freakin' old im getting every time I go to Lagoon. I used to run from ride to ride when I was younger and now I do a ride and have to rest for an hour or so and then I can do another. I did two gut buster rides in a row and it killed me. Im turning soft!

Not at all a bad comment. I know my ugliness! I always look at bailey and think how the heck did I do such a good job? lol jk
