Ok I woke up this morning with a headache and ran at 5:45 am up to daybreak and met my friend Trick for an 8 mile run.  As I was running up the hill she came down so I had to go back down the hill and come up it another time.  Im worn out and my legs are so tired. I think Ill rest this morning and then go get my packet for the Provo river half.

Its about time I got up earlier than you! Maybe Ill see you tuesday at Riverton High school? I was planning on being there anyway and your friends from around here sent me a message saying they would be there.

Hahahaha! So what does your friend think about her new nickname???

Best of luck on your race!

From Jody on Fri, Aug 08, 2008 at 10:00:20

Walter, I am planning on it but a little scared because I have never done any track work.

From Walter on Fri, Aug 08, 2008 at 10:03:42

Lucia, she wont get on this blog for the accountability reason so I told here her new nickname and she just laughed. She is training for St. George and has had some rough time with her hips and legs. I ran a 3:18 with her the year I had mono just for fun and it was almost her PR! If I would have planned it better, she would have PR'd. As far as my race tommorrow, Im scared because I feel dehydrated. Ill drink mucho today. (my spanish word for the day)

Jody, doing speed workouts are rough but you lose more weight doing them, your body gets a taste of speed that you dont usually do in races even and the more of them you do, the better your pace will become. Danielle, who I call Trick, has just started doing them about 3 weeks ago with me and I know itll help her as will you. You just have to keep your base miles up or you could get injured.

From Walter on Fri, Aug 08, 2008 at 23:39:02

Sure, Ill show you whats up. lol
