I did two legs. First one was 3.5 miles of rollers and a mile of torcherous mountain running.

Second leg was 5.5 miles of 3.5 downhill and 1 trail and 1 back on the road. It was a seriously fun race and I would recommend it to everyone! We took 2nd overall in the mixed division and had a blast. We got a back pack and water bottles and a gift certificate to the juice bar. I ran with ProBar who graciously let me run on their team.

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 01:18:39 from 74.82.64.32

Yes for sure Lily! No slacking!

Carina, its a must do. Very easy compared to Ragnar.

From Steam8 on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 01:30:22 from 166.70.55.77

Congrats Walter! Very cool! How is the achilles now?

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 01:33:57 from 74.82.64.35

Amy, it was so darn fun! We should try and get a team for next year! My achilles is fine! I was scared from the uphill climb but didn't have an issue one.

From jtshad on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 09:51:00 from 69.20.183.178

Sounds like fun, glad you are back out running.

From Steve on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 10:10:05 from 76.27.106.132

You are off having a blast while the rest of us suffer the morning away.

BTW, is running with ED one of those "man problem" races?

From Teena Marie on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 11:57:36 from 67.2.88.232

NICE!!!!

(Waiting for the answer to Steve's question!!! HA!)

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 12:01:17 from 74.82.64.18

Jeff, it was good to be back running.

Steve, I'm glad I didn't do Ogden. It wouldve been the half if I did. Besides they shouldve given me a free entry for winning it last year.

TM, thanks. It. Was. A good short competitive relay.

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 12:11:41 from 74.82.64.17

Haha. I know what ED stands for and I suppose you are assuming since I'm 40 now that I would take on this race righy? Wrong! Its Education.

From Seth on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 12:16:05 from 75.169.127.32

Nice job man! I was in the relay too, but we weren't going for place. Just a fun time. Super fun relay and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather!

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 12:22:43 from 74.82.64.20

TM, hilarious. We shouldve named our team that except we were a mixed team.

Seth, I thought you were running Ogden? It was a fun relay though! Without the Ragnar side effects.

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 12:25:08 from 74.82.64.19

Seth sorry I thougt you were Seth Wold. Wrong Seth. But still a great race!

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 13:15:16 from 74.82.64.18

Teena, ED doesn't have anything to do with athletic runners on this blog. We don't take offense to it.

From Teena Marie on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 13:20:09 from 67.2.88.232

Thanks Walter! I really have been worried that I might have offended someone.

How is your achilles?

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 13:22:03 from 74.82.64.18

Its a little stiff. Hah! Oh my achilles? Yeah its fine! I'm going to be just fine!

From Teena Marie on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 13:31:51 from 67.2.88.232

You are making me laugh!!!

Glad your achilles is behaving somewhat. :)

From Steve on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 14:17:26 from 173.127.136.50

Just for the record, I meant "esteem difficulties".

From Teena Marie on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 19:10:09 from 67.2.88.232

I knew that's what you meant, Steve. ;)

From MCKENZIE on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 20:23:32 from 67.2.219.190

I'm laughing so hard right now! I work in urology so am very familiar with the term ED, if by chance you do run into some trouble Walter, I can hook you up with some sample medication....haha

From Walter on Sun, May 22, 2011 at 20:36:20 from 74.82.64.18

Kenzie, I don't need any for me but I do have a "friend" that was talking to me about it and could use some. Haha I can see the pranks building up in my head right now! Like putting them in the water jug at the aid station in a marathon... this is a great race folks look how happy these men are coming in! Ok ill stop now.

From Carina on Mon, May 23, 2011 at 11:43:21 from 204.15.86.83

LOL!! Walter, I think that it might be a little distracting during a marathon and hurt their performance, I mean in the race ;)

From Walter on Mon, May 23, 2011 at 11:48:53 from 74.82.64.19

Carina, awesome! Good "point" I agree with you. But the after race party would make the news!:)

From Carina on Mon, May 23, 2011 at 11:51:13 from 204.15.86.83

Yeah, the news on cable after midnight!! Ha Ha
