I have three girls-Sarah, Brooke, and Bailey and a baby boy born in Jan. 2010 named Boston. I own a Concrete Construction company called Quality Footings and Foundations. Went to Bingham High School and ran with the BBK group. we did a 3 mile warmup and then got to it on the track. 1x400 and 1200's times were 35 and 37

800 was 2:37

1000's were 3:17, 3:24, 3:20

800 was 2:40

200's were 37, 35

I walked 200 yards in between for my rest. It ended up being close to 2:10.

Nice speed Walter!!! Does the walking in between as opposed to a longer slow jog help with the recovery? I've always jogged, but I had nasty lead legs this morning - so I just jogged 1 lap between each to get a longer 'rest'.

Thanks Rachel. I like to try to catch my breath and then go again when I first start doing speed workouts. Longer rests are fine the key is to do more repeats with less rest. Then Ill be trying to keep up with you for sure!
