I went to the Oval this morning and ran 7 miles on it which is equivelant to 13 road miles! haha It was so boring. I was running around a 7 minute pace and did one 800 meter in 2:38 which is a 5:16 mile pace. I think Ill start my speed work next week. I felt good but I got to say its extremely boring running around in circles. Oh not as boring as a treadmill though! ;)

Ran with the BBK group this morning at 5:15. I was so cold I wasnt making sense in my sentances. I told Peggy I was doing a race on the 38th of March. My brain was crystalizing. We ended up doing a gradual hill climb for about a half mile, and did that 4 times and then did 6 steep hill sprints for 30 seconds.  I clocked a total of 9.6 miles but my watch was probably frozen too. Im pretty sure it was near that everyone else got close to that.

I ran at the oval this morning with misty and danielle. I say Jody and Paula roughing it also. A nice touch to get out of the weather for a change.

I went to the parktrail on 98th with the BBK group and we warmed up with about 4.5 miles. Then we did 2x2.35 mile tempo runs.  My first set was I think around a 7:30 pace. My second 2.36 miles were 5:53 for the first mile, 6:06 for the second mile and 2:08 for the .35 mile. It felt good but I felt myself fading after the 2nd mile. I finished with a cool down to make 10 full miles. I forced myself not to look at the temp on my truck when I got out. That way I couldnt have any excuses! Thats all Ive got to say about that.

I started up at Daybreak this morning with Misty Charity and Danielle. Misty and Charity ran together and I ran with Trick. We did a long loop around daybreak that made it 6.25 miles. I was pretty tired from yesterdays run so called it a day. I have a race tomorrow down in St. George called the Tuacahn Duathlon. Its a fun little race they have every year where you run bike and run again. Itll be nice to get out of the cold.

The duathlon I was going to run was canceled so I ran with Clyde and bill and Nate in some very nice weather. St. George is awesome right now.
